We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Field Test Worker to join our clients product development team. In this role, you will be the final line of defense in ensuring our landscaping equipment's meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will spend your days operating prototype equipment in various "real-world" conditions-thick brush, steep slopes, and extreme weather-to identify mechanical failures and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities:
Operational Testing: Execute standardized test protocols on push, self-propelled, and riding mowers, including endurance runs, fuel consumption tracking, and cut-quality analysis.
Data Collection: Use digital logging tools and sensors to monitor engine temperature, blade RPM, and vibration levels.
Mechanical Maintenance: Perform basic on-site maintenance, including oil changes, blade sharpening, and belt adjustments to keep test units running.
Failure Analysis: Identify and document "bugs" or mechanical failures. You must be able to articulate exactly what happened leading up to a part failure or a software glitch.
Reporting: Complete detailed daily logs and high-quality photo/video documentation of equipment performance for the engineering team.
Safety Compliance: Strictly follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe boots) and maintaining a safe test perimeter.
Working hours: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in landscaping, agriculture, or mechanical trades.
Familiarity with data logging software or GPS mapping.
Experience operating Zero-Turn (ZTR) or commercial-grade mowing equipment.

Qualifications:
Outdoor Stamina: Ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, light rain).
Technical Aptitude: Experience with small engines or basic mechanical repair. If you can fix your own mower or car, you have the right mindset.
Observational Skills: A "keen eye" for spotting slight changes in engine sound, smoke, or uneven cutting patterns.
Communication: Proficiency in English for writing clear, concise technical reports.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and safely load/unload equipment from trailers.
