- Location: Mayville, Wisconsin
Responsibilities:
- Laser Setup and Operation: Perform complete setups and operations on Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 Lasers, including checking material thickness and safely loading and handling material using a forklift.
- Troubleshooting and Adjustment: Identify and resolve machine alignment and cut condition problems; independently troubleshoot minor program errors; and apply a basic understanding of G and M code.
- Part Finishing and Quality: De-nest and remove laser oxide from parts, ensuring all assigned work meets established time standards and quality expectations.
- Process Improvement & Training: Actively cross-train across multiple laser platforms/cells, participate in operator-level preventative maintenance tasks, and may be asked to train others on setup and operation.
- Documentation and Compliance: Accurately account for time and work completed using the online computer data collection system and ensure continuous compliance with all corporate and plant safety standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have CNC or Laser Experience
- Knowledge of G and M code
