- Installation of mechanical door hardware, restroom accessories, cabinetry hardware, and other architectural hardware as specified in blueprints and work orders.- Accurately read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure precise installation and adherence to design intent.- Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical hardware installation, function, and alignment. Perform necessary adjustments and repairs.- Directly supervise and provide technical direction to a team of installers and apprentices, and train team members on proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.- Conduct final inspections to verify that all installations meet company quality standards and local building codes.- Enforce all job site safety rules, conduct regular safety checks, and lead/participate in toolbox safety meetings. Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards.- Track and manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment. Requisition necessary parts and report any shortages.- Maintain accurate daily work logs, material usage records, time sheets, and installation sign-off documents.- Serve as the primary on-site representative for installation issues, providing professional customer service and communicating project status and concerns to the Project Manager or client.
