We are recruiting a Line Lead to join the team at a state-of-the-art food product production facility located in Brenham, TX This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor. The Line Lead is responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of a production line team. You will ensure that all production goals are met on schedule while strictly adhering to our established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety protocols, and company policies. The Line Lead acts as the primary on-site leader, ensuring a smooth, safe, and productive shift.

Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate line operators and general laborers to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards. Conduct pre-shift meetings.
Monitor the production line to ensure efficiency, proper machine operation, and correct product packaging and labeling.
Enforce GMP and safety regulations. Complete quality control checks, fill out production logs, and report any deviations or concerns immediately.
Identify and address minor mechanical or process issues on the line to minimize downtime. Coordinate with Maintenance for complex problems.
Ensure the correct raw materials and packaging supplies are available and properly managed on the line. Accurately complete all necessary shift documentation and production reports.
Participate in efforts to identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and increased efficiency.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role, preferably within the food industry.
Strong understanding of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Proven ability to lead a diverse team, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
