Responsibilities:
Shipment Planning: Plan and schedule shipments with freight carriers based on product availability and customer requests.
Tracking & Delivery: Track outbound orders to ensure timely delivery via carriers including UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight providers.
Documentation: Confirm data accuracy and prepare vital shipping documents, such as invoices and purchase orders.
Inventory & Auditing: Assist with purchasing, supply management, and participate in periodic monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts and audits.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate special shipping requests directly with the warehouse floor team and respond to logistics-related inquiries from other internal departments.
Vendor Management: Follow up proactively with freight vendors to resolve shipping issues, transit delays, or discrepancies.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical Literacy: Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Calendar).
Data Entry Speed: Minimum typing speed of 30+ WPM.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and vendors.
Physical Capabilities: Must be able to comfortably lift up to 25 lbs without assistance in a standard office setting.
Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and a resilient, positive attitude under pressure.
