Responsibilities:
Managing the flow of people by monitoring metal detectors to ensure no prohibited items enter or exit the building.Performing regular walkthroughs and securing high-risk areas, specifically ensuring all dock doors are locked and bolted by the end of the shift. Documenting daily activities through security checklists and drafting incident reports to alert management of any security breaches or safety non-conformances.
Working hours: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Skills:
2-3 years of relevant work experience. - Monitor personnel and visitors enter or exit the metal detector. - Verify all dock doors are secure and locked at the end of shift. - Conduct periodic facility security walk through. - Complete the daily security checklist and incident reports advising on any security gaps or non-conformances to management.

Qualifications:
Experience operating walk-through metal detectors and hand-held wands. Understanding of dock door safety mechanisms and "interlock" systems to ensure they are properly secured against both theft and safety hazards. Ability to write clear, factual, and objective incident reports. You should be able to explain the who, what, where, when, and why without using emotional or speculative language. Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards and fire codes (e.g., ensuring exit paths and dock areas are clear
