The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to rigorous safety protocols, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting structural or mechanical variations. You will work closely with quality control and shift supervisors to meet daily output targets while upholding strict standards of precision and manufacturing excellence.
Responsibilities:
Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare production equipment by performing calibrations, loading raw materials, and adjusting speed, temperature, or pressure settings according to technical schematics or work orders.
Production Monitoring: Actively oversee machine cycles, conduct routine inline measurements, and adjust controls to rectify deviations in material flow or product dimensions.
Quality Assurance: Inspect finished components using standard measuring tools (such as calipers or micrometers) to verify alignment with engineering specifications; document metrics and isolate non-conforming items.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines, facility safety rules, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols; maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation.
Reporting: Document daily production logs, output volume, material usage, and equipment maintenance histories within the tracking system.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience operating under lean manufacturing principles or structured workflow frameworks.
Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptive problem-solving capabilities.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.
Proven experience working as a Machine Operator or in a similar production/manufacturing environment.
Physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended durations during shifts.
Solid foundational math skills and the ability to accurately interpret technical documents or blueprints.
Demonstrated understanding of industrial safety practices and standard PPE requirements.
