Spherion is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Bristol, RI. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with production equipment and supporting a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Set up equipment, tooling, raw materials, conveyors, and packaging systems for production.
Prepare machinery for operation, including pre-heating tools and loading programs.
Monitor production processes to maintain quality, safety, and production standards.
Perform routine quality checks and submit production samples as required.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic first-line maintenance.
Support emergency shutdown procedures when necessary.
Complete equipment shutdowns and machine changeovers according to the production schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing practices.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Skills:
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.
Experience with equipment setup, changeovers, or production machinery.
Experience performing routine quality checks.
Familiarity with first-line equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience working with safety procedures and continuous improvement practices.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to identify equipment issues and communicate problems effectively.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and follow safety procedures.
