Responsibilities:
Operation & Control: Set up, calibrate, and operate production machinery according to operational guidelines and job orders.
Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products for defects, measure dimensions using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures), and ensure adherence to quality specifications.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, replacing minor components) and troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions.
Material Handling: Load raw materials into machines and safely unload, package, or transport finished goods to designated staging areas.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow company safety protocols, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized work station.
Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate logs of daily production counts, machine downtime, material usage, and any quality issues.
Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 General Industry Safety Certification
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience: 1+ years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred (willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude).
Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or job specifications; basic understanding of machine controls and measurement tools.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs] regularly throughout an 8- to 12-hour shift.
Work Ethic: Strong attendance record, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); vocational training or certifications are a plus.
