Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture by strictly adhering to all organizational standards and PPE regulations.
Equipment Mastery: Manage the full cycle of equipment operation (set-up, start-up, and shut-down) and perform regular inspections to detect and resolve malfunctions.
Automation Support: Support existing automation systems and use basic PLC programming knowledge to monitor and maintain system health.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and reset basic mechanical, electrical, and computer system alerts; interpret maintenance procedures to keep the line moving.
Production Flow: Efficiently feed raw materials into hoppers and designated devices to maintain steady output.
Quality Control: Utilize precision tools like calipers and interpret SPC charts/trends to ensure all products meet strict quality metrics.
Team Collaboration: Partner with engineers and supervisors to plan work, resolve production bottlenecks, and train fellow team members on assembly techniques.

Skills:
Technical Aptitude: Ability to operate tools in full production mode, interpret error codes, and determine necessary fault-correction steps.
Analytical Skills: Comfortable reading SPC charts and identifying out-of-control patterns or material replenishment needs.
Continuous Improvement: Eager to work alongside technicians to develop deeper tool ownership and support process experiments.
Team Spirit: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High Activity: Ability to stand/walk for 100% of the shift, with frequent bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Environment: Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled, fast-paced, and dusty environment with exposure to paint or adhesive odors.
Safety Gear: Required to wear steel-toe boots, cut-resistant gloves, and safety glasses at all times.
