Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting plans: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and measurements.
Material preparation: Clean, cut, and prepare metal components for welding, which may involve preheating workpieces.
Welding: Operate various welding machines and equipment to join metal pieces together, ensuring strong and accurate joints.
Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area.
Equipment maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machines and other equipment to ensure they are in good working
Quality control:
Inspect completed welds for flaws like cracks or porosity, using visual inspection and other testing methods as needed.
Perform quality checks on parts and assemblies, inspect for accuracy, and package finished products for shipping.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Degree or equivalent of 3 years in fabrication, logistics or warehouse management (industrial or plumbing supply preferred).
Machine operation: Operating and assisting with basic machinery like saws, grinders, drill presses, and CNC machines.
Assembly: Helping to assemble components and products according to specifications.
Shop maintenance: Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
Preparation: Preparing parts for further processes, such as cleaning, deburring, or painting.
Work well in a fast-paced environment.
Supply Chain delivery and Logistics coordination
Hand power tools maintenance and knowledge
Mechanically inclined
Strong understanding of safe material handling and yard operations.
Ability to operate forklifts and oversee heavy material movement safely is a plus.
Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.
Strong communication skills for coordination with warehouses, drivers, and sales teams.
Proficient in PC. Word and Exell.
Tool proficiency: Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
Basic math and measurement: Proficiency in basic math and using measuring tools is often required.
Physical ability: A willingness to perform physical labor, which can include heavy lifting.
Attention to detail: Meticulousness in performing tasks and checking for accuracy.
Educational background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Technical skills: Proficiency with basic hand and power tools is essential. Knowledge of reading blueprints and engineered drawings is often required.

Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
Comfortable working outdoors and in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.
