Responsibilities:
-Machine Operation & Setup: Efficiently set up, adjust, and operate multi-axis CNC machines (mills, lathes, or Swiss turns) to produce complex medical components.
-Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise machining sequences.
-Quality Inspection: Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and CMMs.
-Documentation & Compliance: Maintain meticulous production logs and device history records (DHR) in strict accordance with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
-Process Optimization: Monitor machine performance, recognize tool wear, make necessary offsets, and collaborate with engineering to optimize cycle times and tool life.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety protocols and perform routine daily maintenance on machinery to ensure a safe, clean working environment.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
-Programming Literacy: Ability to read and edit G-code and M-code.
-Specialized Experience: Experience with Swiss-style CNC lathes or multi-axis (4 or 5-axis) milling centers.
-Medical Device Background: Direct experience working within an FDA-regulated or ISO 13485-certified environment.
-Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative team mindset.

Qualifications:
-Experience: Minimum of 2???5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a high-precision, regulated manufacturing environment (Medical Device, Aerospace, or Automotive preferred).
-Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret complex blue prints and a solid understanding of GD&T.
-Mathematical Proficiency: Basic shop math, including geometry and trigonometry.
-Measurement Tools: High proficiency in using standard inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
-Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate or machinist apprenticeship completion is a major plus.
