Now hiring a Maintenance Controls Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with a world-leading manufacturing company located in Conway, SC. The Manager will take a leadership role in maintaining a world-class safety program, improving equipment reliability, and coordinating new process implementations in a busy 24/7 plant. What You'll Do:
- Drive Reliability: Set goals and track metrics to continuously improve equipment reliability, reduce costs, and increase on-stream time.
- Lead Operations Support: Coordinate with engineers, maintenance, and operators to implement new process operating conditions and procedures.
- Manage Plant Performance: Take an active role in planning, conducting, and analyzing plant performance improvement trials.

Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Take a leadership role to maintain a World Class Safety program and Safety Performance.
- Maintenance Strategy: Effectively apply preventive, predictive, and proactive tools and programs.
- Troubleshooting: Respond as required to specific equipment and performance problems.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain the integrity of all drawings, specifications, programs, compliance/inspection records, and adhere to all ISO system requirements.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Skills:
- Continuous Improvement: Six Sigma skills and the ability to apply Six Sigma tools to help reduce costs and increase plant capacity.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to understand the impact of on-stream time on variable cost and utilize cost benefit analysis to determine priorities.
- Tech Savvy: Excellent computer skills, with Microsoft Office, CMMS, and Oracle preferred. Working experience with Siemens control systems is desirable.
- Leadership: Strong motivator of people with excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal communication skills.

4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Education: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment with highly technical operations/facility management. Maintenance Engineering skills are required.
- Programming Core: PLCs experience is required, specifically Allen Bradley. Must have ladder logic programming experience related to process automation and control.
