Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of technicians across rotating shifts; facilitate daily hand-off meetings to ensure seamless communication.
Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary technical resource for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
System Optimization: Manage the site???s CMMS to improve preventative maintenance schedules, reduce downtime, and track parts inventory.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Engineering and Plant Leadership to prioritize work orders and manage the maintenance budget.
Operational Safety: Act as a key member of the Safety and 5S committees, ensuring all work meets OSHA and NFPA standards.
Project Management: Oversee facility upkeep, manage external contractors, and lead equipment upgrades for improved speed and quality.

What We're Looking For:
Experience: At least 5 years of experience leading maintenance teams in a heavy industrial or specialized processing environment (experience with extrusion or similar material processing preferred).
Technical Mastery: Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of PLC Theory.
Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for asset and inventory management.
Safety & Compliance: Working knowledge of OSHA (19.10/19.26) and NFPA codes.
Physical Ability: Comfortable working on the production floor, climbing towers, and standing/walking for 10???12 hours in varying climates.
Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor???s Degree in Engineering is a significant plus.
