You will operate industrial finishing equipment to ensure every board meets specific thickness and edge-quality standards while performing essential preventative maintenance to keep the line running efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Surface Finishing: Operate equipment and machines to achieve uniform board thickness and surface smoothness.
Edge Precision: Use hand tools and industrial machinery to trim edges in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance on finishing equipment, such as lubricating bushings or adjusting conveyor belts.
Material Handling: Safely use forklifts to move finished products to outbound logistics staging areas.
Loading/Unloading: Load finished goods into shipping containers and trailers.
Technical Support: Partner with senior manufacturing technicians to facilitate equipment repairs.
Dust Management: Support overall industrial cleaning activities to maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Skills:
A background in mechanics, construction, or other related field
Forklift experience
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 to 5 years of manufacturing experience performing maintenance-related tasks on heavy equipment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. (Engineering experience/education is a plus) .
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate a large manufacturing facility
