As a Senior Maintenance Technician and Project Leader, you will drive operational excellence in a high-autonomy environment. We are seeking a high-level self-starter who can identify inefficiencies, manage their own workflow, and lead technical projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision. You will perform semi-routine to complex maintenance, troubleshooting electrical AC/DC drives, PLC systems, and mechanical equipment to ensure maximum production continuity.

Responsibilities:
Systems Leadership: Spearhead complex repair projects and preventative maintenance programs; provide recommendations for equipment modifications to the Manufacturing Engineer.
PLC & Electronics: Perform advanced troubleshooting, programming, and monitoring of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and ladder logic.
Mechanical Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment including twisters, towers, and extruders.
Facilities Maintenance: Maintain critical plant systems including boilers, furnaces, HVAC, and air compressors.
Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled PM duties (greasing, component changes) and develop innovative parts or modifications to improve machine lifespan.
Technical Support: Read and interpret complex machine drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex work problems and mentor/assist other workers in solving technical issues.
Operations: Modify and refurbish tooling; maintain a clean and organized maintenance and parts area.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Skills:
Innovation: Proven track record of developing custom parts or process modifications to improve efficiency.
Software: Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and tracking.
Tooling: Experience operating a wide variety of specialized industrial tools and refurbishing equipment tooling.
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in an autonomous environment.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of combined electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
PLC Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience programming PLCs and understanding ladder logic.
Electrical Proficiency: Deep understanding of single/three-phase electrical distribution systems and AC/DC drive systems/motors.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read/comprehend blueprints and electrical schematics; proficient in using Volt/Ohm and Amp meters.
Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in awkward positions, at heights, or on foot for the duration of a shift.
Safety & Compliance: Mastery of Lock out/Tag out (LOTO), confined space protocols, and general industrial safety procedures.
Availability: Must have an outstanding attendance record and the flexibility to work mandatory overtime or call-in assignments.
