A leading North American manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and commercial construction, as well as repair and remodeling markets, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Associate (Mechanical-Electrical Technician) for its facility in Sidney, OH. The plant operates 24/7, and technicians work a 5-day schedule with rotating weekends (currently every 3rd weekend off, with weekday off-days provided when working weekends). Pay Rates & Shifts:
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM ($26.00 - $42.00 per hour based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs), predictive maintenance, and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical (including high-voltage), hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
Install, fabricate, and repair industrial plumbing, pipe systems, and steam heating equipment.
Plan, fabricate, and machine replacement parts using onsite machine shop tools and equipment.
Enter and manage work orders using a mobile tablet CMMS system.
Log accurate data, maintain daily shift briefs, and support smooth shift changeovers.
Identify required replacement parts, order supplies through MRO/purchasing, and manage parts inventory.
Perform basic facilities maintenance and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Skills:
PLC Programming: PLC programming capabilities beyond troubleshooting.
Fabrication: Machine shop fabrication and welding experience.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
Electrical & Automation: Working knowledge of electrical systems, high-voltage troubleshooting, and PLC troubleshooting.
Mechanical & Fluid Power: Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical repair, pipe fitting, and industrial plumbing.
Technical Basics: Ability to read prints and use basic hand tools and an electrical meter.
Testing: Ability to pass the Ramsey General Aptitude Test during the interview process.
Physical & Environmental Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, crawl, bend, and twist in a fast-paced plant environment.
Ability to distinguish colors, correctable eyesight, and correctable hearing.
