Spherion is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to perform general cleanup and upkeep of facility buildings and exterior grounds, ensuring all areas remain in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. This role supports daily operations across offices, restrooms, breakrooms, production areas, and outdoor properties with minimal disruption to ongoing business.

Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain breakrooms, offices, restrooms, and production floors.
Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning ceiling vents.
Safely operate, clean, and maintain floor scrubbing equipment to ensure constant readiness.
Prepare and paint indoor and outdoor surfaces using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and correct paint application techniques.
Keep indoor walkways, aisles, and exterior grounds clear of trash, debris, branches, and leaves.
Perform basic preventive maintenance on groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, string trimmers, and snowblowers.
Restock cleaning supplies, sanitation products, and maintenance materials (e.g., trimmer string, paint rollers, brushes).
Execute special sanitization processes as required during increases in contagious illnesses.
Read, understand, and apply safety procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for all cleaning chemicals and products.
Ensure safe work practices, adhere to established safety protocols, and follow all health and safety regulations.
Promote Safety, Quality, and Housekeeping initiatives throughout all facility areas.
Communicate continuous improvement opportunities to leadership to elevate facility cleanliness and safety standards.
Maintain open communication and cooperation with all team members to address facility concerns.
Adhere strictly to the company Code of Conduct.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
English and Spanish language skills.
Industry Background: Previous experience in manufacturing, general production, or manufacturing warehouse logistics.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Proven experience as a cleaner, custodian, or groundskeeper.
Language Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing; ability to read work instructions, specifications, and SDSs.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills to log metrics, order supplies, and complete required training modules.
