Responsibilities:
??Mow grass and trim weeds in parks, rights-of-way, and other municipal properties.
??Rake, edge, and remove trash and debris from public areas.
??Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, and grass under supervision.
??Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment such as weed eaters, leaf blowers, and push mowers.
??Help prepare and clean up locations for special events or city-sponsored activities.
??Perform basic upkeep and maintenance on landscaping equipment.
??Monitor the Splash Pad and public pool facilities, including restrooms and surrounding areas.
??Perform routine cleaning and contamination clean-up procedures to maintain sanitation and safety.
??Clean pool cartridges and carry out general sanitation duties.
??Conduct and record Splash Pad water quality checks three times daily.
??Enforce facility rules and safety guidelines for visitors.
??Complete daily operational forms and follow opening and closing procedures.
??Maintain records related to attendance, incidents, and accidents.
??Report hazards, damage, or repair needs to supervisors.
??Provide friendly and professional customer service to facility guests.
??Follow all workplace safety procedures and policies.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
-Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, facility maintenance, or recreation facilities.
-Florida Public Pool Certification.
-CPR certification.
-Familiarity with basic Splash Pad or pool operation procedures and sanitation standards.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
??Valid Florida driver???s license at the time of hire.
??Ability to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.
??Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power equipment.
??Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
??Understanding of workplace safety practices.
??Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and interact respectfully with the public.
??Must follow City employee conduct standards and uniform requirements.
