Spherion Staffing is currently seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at an apartment complex located in Nacogdoches, Texas. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and is expected to last for the next month or two. The role provides hands-on facility upkeep, grounds maintenance, and general repairs to support the community.

Responsibilities:
Complete routine maintenance work orders and facility upkeep throughout the apartment complex.
Change, rekey, and repair door locks and hardware.
Perform basic preventative maintenance, including changing air filters.
Upkeep grounds and property curb appeal by collecting trash, emptying receptacles, and tending to the lawn.
Assist with apartment turns, make-readies, and other general tasks as assigned.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Practical experience or working knowledge in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with basic electrical repairs (fixtures, switches, outlets).
Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing repairs (clearing drains, fixing leaks, replacing hardware).
Prior experience working in residential or multi-family apartment community maintenance.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of general maintenance or handyman experience.
Proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
Great mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently, manage daily tasks efficiently, and maintain reliable punctuality.
