Pay Rate: $34.00/hr
Engagement: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension based on performance)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Responsibilities:
As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.
You will apply your knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and metal properties to:
Fabricate & Repair: Create or modify parts for machine tools and industrial machinery.
Precision Work: Use micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges to ensure exact specifications.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex drawings and geometric tolerances.
Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep and repair of shop equipment.
Safety & Quality: Adhere to strict HSE guidelines and operational compliance standards to ensure a safe, high-quality output.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Excellent verbal communication, organized workflow, and a commitment to "safety first" operations.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Experience: 5???7 years of relevant machining experience (minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing/repair environment).
Technical Skill: Proficiency with manual lathes, milling machines, and/or CNC equipment.
Education: HS Diploma or GED required.
