As an entry-level assembler, you will be responsible for learning step-by-step instructions to manually build high-quality products using basic hand or power tools.
You will also keep your station clean, visually check your work for defects, and strictly follow all warehouse safety rules.
Skills:
Good with Your Hands: Excellent dexterity to handle small parts like springs, washers, and clips without dropping or damaging them.
Sharp Eyesight: A "hawk eye" for detail to spot scratches, tarnishing, or defects in finishes like chrome and brass.
Testing Experience: Helpful if you know how to run pressure or "drip tests" using air or water to check for leaks.
Fast & Steady: Able to do repetitive assembly work quickly and accurately while maintaining high quality.
Qualifications:
Handy with Tools: Knows how to use power drills, wrenches, and standard hardware without damaging parts.
Good with Directions: Can follow step-by-step instructions (paper or digital) exactly as written.
Basic Math & Measuring: Comfortable with fractions/decimals and able to accurately use a tape measure and calipers.
Detail-Oriented: Able to check your finished work against a checklist or sample to ensure it's done right.
Safety-Minded: Always wears required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toes) and follows safety rules.
Dependable: Shows up on time every day. If your station is empty, the whole assembly line stops!
