Experience specifically in precision sheet metal fabrication or precision machining.Experience programming CNC turret punches.Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Mastercam, or similar CAD/CAM platforms.Experience with JobBOSS or JobBOSS2 ERP systems.Knowledge of press brake forming and sheet metal bend calculations.Experience with resistance spot welding, MIG welding, and TIG welding.Experience with laser cutting and material yield optimization.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.Experience with mechanical assembly processes.Experience supporting new product development and custom engineering projects.Experience with manufacturing cost estimating, including processing times and material utilization.Familiarity with failure mode analysis and corrective action processes.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field OR equivalent hands-on manufacturing/fabrication experience.Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.Knowledge of flat pattern development, bend deductions, tonnage calculations, and tooling selection.Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and production processes.Ability to analyze manufacturing problems and develop practical solutions.Knowledge of quality control principles and manufacturing specifications.Ability to communicate technical information clearly with production and cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and make sound engineering decisions.Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office or comparable productivity software.
