Assist with the repair, restoration, and maintenance of heavy-duty wood mats through precise cutting, drilling, and doweling.
Safely operate power tools (skill saws, drills, impact drivers) and heavy hand tools (pickaxes, hammers) to perform restoration tasks.
Conduct thorough quality inspections on finished wood mats to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications.
Operate a forklift as needed to transport materials and finished mats throughout the work area.
Strictly follow all safety protocols, workplace safety regulations, and proper material handling procedures.
Perform heavy lifting and assist with the movement of timber and materials around the facility.
Cross-train and support other team members in adjacent departments to maintain operational flow.

Working hours: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Skills:
Forklift Operation: Prior experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts to move heavy timber and materials (Certification is a major plus).
Industrial & Mechanical Aptitude: Previous experience in heavy industrial, wood restoration, construction, or manufacturing environments.
Advanced Tool Proficiency: Comfort and speed using heavy-duty power tools (skill saws, impact drivers, corded drills) and hand tools (pickaxes, heavy hammers).
Quality Assurance: Experience performing visual and structural quality checks on raw or restored materials.
Cross-Training Flexibility: Ability to quickly adapt, cross-train, and assist in adjacent warehouse or assembly departments as production demands shift.

Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect repaired mats for structural integrity and quality standards before approval.
Schedule Flexibility & Dependability: Proven track record of reliable attendance, with open availability to work 2nd shift (4:00 PM ??? 2:30 AM) and complete overtime when required.
