Responsibilities:
Material Handler I
Pay Rate $16.00 per hour (US Hourly)
As a Material Handler I, you will be a vital part of our client?s logistics operation, ensuring the smooth flow of products throughout the warehouse. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring precision and a high degree of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operation (35%): Expertly operate Cherry Picker (Order Picker), Reach Truck, and Sit Down forklifts for loading, picking, and put-away tasks.
Warehouse Functions: Perform a variety of tasks including accurate picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
Accuracy & Compliance: Responsible for accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and the loading/unloading of trucks (20%).
Paperwork: Handle essential warehouse documents (picking sheets, bills of lading, returns, etc.) (10%).
Performance: Consistently perform duties within contract performance measurement guidelines (25%).
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED.
1 year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office.

Forklift Certification/Experience: Proven experience operating Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, and Sit Down forklifts is essential.
Skills: Verbal/written communication, highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
Commitment: Must work using established health and safety methods and be available to work a flexible schedule across various shifts.
Teamwork: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player in a diverse work environment.
