Spherion is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Material Handler specializing in Reach Stand-Up Forklift operation. This role is responsible for the efficient movement of inventory, high-reach racking, and general warehouse support. Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation - Safely operate a Reach Stand-Up Forklift to pull orders and put away stock in high-density racking.
Material Movement - Load and unload trailers, stage materials for production, and ensure the warehouse floor remains organized.
Safety & Compliance - Complete on-site certification through our corporate office and maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols.
Inventory Support - Assist with manual material handling, palletizing, and order verification as needed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
A "safety-first" mindset.
Experience in high-volume distribution or manufacturing environments.
The ability to pass an on-site practical forklift evaluation.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Recent Experience - You must have operated a Reach Stand-Up Forklift within the last 3-5 years.
Technical Skill - Proven ability to navigate narrow aisles and handle high-reach maneuvers with precision.
Physical Ability - Must be comfortable standing for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 50 lbs. as required.
Reliability - Strong attendance record and a commitment to workplace safety.
