Spherion Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Helper for a manufacturer in Wichita Falls, TX! This versatile position will provide support across the machine shop's logistics and manufacturing operations. The work hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
Assembly & Fabrication: Helping put together components or assisting welders and machinists.

Deburring & Cleaning: Preparing metal parts for the next stage of production.
Inventory/Warehouse: Assisting with the movement of raw materials or finished products using a forklift or pallet jack.
Parts Runner: Bringing parts to various stations across the producion floor.
Loading/Unloading: Ensuring trucks are staged correctly for the logistics arm of the business.
May handle general janitorial upkeep and organizing the shop floor to maintain safety standards.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Must be flexible to product or routine changes.
Multitask at a high and accurate productive level daily.
Must be able to be on their feet for duration of shift and able to lift and carry objects weiging up to 50 lbs.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be willing to train on forklift
- Can read a tape measure
