Performs highly repetitive, routine micro-assembly and laser welding of medical parts using a pre-configured benchtop laser welding system. This role operates under a microscope to weld components following Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI) and work instructions. Laser welding experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided. It does not involve machine programming or technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:
Insert components into fixtures inside the laser chamber, manually aligning workpieces under an integrated stereo microscope using crosshair reticles to pinpoint exact pulse locations.
Screen completed welds under magnification to check for obvious visible defects like cracks or missing joints.
Complete all production logs and forms in real-time, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) while strictly adhering to laser chamber safety protocols.
Follow all cleanroom protocols, including mandatory gowning, masking, and gloving.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Skills:
Vocational training in precision welding is preferred.
3 to 5 years of basic manufacturing assembly experience.
A medical device or medical cleanroom background is highly preferred.

Qualifications:
Microscope Comfort: Must be comfortable sitting and looking through a microscope for extended periods (up to an 8-hour shift).
Dexterity & Vision: Superior fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and strong depth perception for manipulating tiny parts under magnification.
Quality Assurance: Ability to maintain steady focus under magnification to identify, flag, and escalate visual part defects immediately.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
