As a Medical Licensing Professional, you will be responsible for managing the entire licensing and credentialing lifecycle for our physicians, nurses, and other health professionals. Your primary goal will be to ensure all clinical staff are appropriately licensed, registered, and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations, minimizing administrative delays and maximizing clinician availability.Key Responsibilities:Application Management: Initiate, prepare, submit, and track initial and renewal applications for medical licenses, DEA registrations, controlled substance permits, and board certifications across multiple states.Verification & Documentation: Collect, organize, and verify required primary source documentation (e.g., education, training, board status, hospital affiliations, examination scores).Compliance Monitoring: Proactively monitor and track expiration dates for all licenses and certifications, ensuring timely renewals and zero lapses in compliance.Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for licensing boards, internal departments, and external clinicians, providing clear updates and managing required follow-ups.Database Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within our credentialing softwarePolicy & Procedure: Stay current with changes in state and federal regulations, implementing new procedures as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance.

Certification: Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or willingness to obtain certification.Multi-State Experience: Experience managing licensing for providers in multiple U.S. states.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience specifically in medical licensing, physician credentialing, or a closely related regulatory/compliance role.Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills; proven ability to handle a high volume of complex applications with impeccable accuracy.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with credentialing software.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
