Role Details & Pay
- Position: Member Engagement Associate (Part-time, Non-exempt, Remote)
- Pay Rate: $30.00 / hour
- Hours: Up to 10 hours / week
- Schedule: Flexible, with limited weekday evening availability required for meetings
- Location: Remote (Bring Your Own Device - BYOD)

Responsibilities:
- Member Engagement (50%): Coordinate and execute in-person, hybrid, and virtual events; brainstorm relevant programming with the Board of Directors; implement monitoring and evaluation to track membership retention and acquisition goals.
- Volunteer Management (20%): Recruit, train, and manage volunteers from the NW chapter base; assign defined tasks and recognize volunteer contributions.
- Communications and Outreach (20%): Create marketing materials, manage social media channels, coordinate cross-promotional efforts with SER Global, and analyze performance metrics.
- Administrative Functions (<10%): Handle chapter correspondence, maintain records with the Secretary and Treasurer, support Board administrative needs, and submit required SER reports and non-profit corporate filings (Annual Report, 990).

Working hours: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
- Experience successfully working in a primarily remote setting
- Prior experience working or volunteering with a membership organization
- Hands-on experience producing promotional and communication materials
- An interest or background in ecological restoration

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency with digital productivity tools, including Google Workspace and Zoom
