We're seeking an experienced MIG Welder I to join our production team, specializing in aluminum welding and component assembly. If you're detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and have the steady hands needed to create flawless welds on intricate parts, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
As a Welder I, you'll be at the heart of the manufacturing process:
Master the Metal ??? Perform MIG welding on aluminum materials, fabricating and joining component parts and assemblies for our golf cars and utility vehicles
Hand Fabrication & Fitting ??? Work with precision on hand fabrication tasks, fitting components before welding
Versatile Positioning ??? Work in various positions including overhead, on platforms, man lifts, and in tight spaces (stooping and bending required)
Quality-Driven Assembly ??? Install factory accessories and assemble sub-assembly components following detailed drawings and procedures
Material Flow ??? Stage and deliver materials from supermarkets to production points
Continuous Improvement ??? Participate in 5S initiatives, lean manufacturing processes, and basic problem-solving activities
Documentation Excellence ??? Complete production and operational documentation accurately and on time
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
AWS D1.2 (Aluminum) Certification or equivalent (ASME/PED)
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional dexterity and hand-eye coordination - ability to manipulate and assemble small, intricate parts

What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
2+ years of MIG welding experience, preferably with aluminum materials in a manufacturing or production setting
Proven ability in hand fabrication, fitting, and assembly of metal components
Capability to work independently without additional training
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds occasionally
Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending
Able to work around moving machinery and vehicles with proper safety precautions
