The MRB Coordinator oversees non-conforming material processing within a medical device manufacturing environment. Based inside the primary NCMR cage adjacent to the receiving dock, this individual ensures that all non-conforming items are properly contained, documented, physically moved, and dispositioned in strict accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and ISO 13485 standards.

Responsibilities:
Non-Conforming Material Containment: Physically segregate, organize, and label non-conforming items, components, and incoming material inside designated NCMR cages and containment zones.
System & Inventory Transactions: Execute material movements and dispositions in QAD (ERP) and Propel (NCMR module). Ensure NCMR disposition tasks are fully approved before releasing, scrapping, returning, or transferring parts.
Quality Compliance & Procedure: Maintain strict adherence to medical device quality standards (ISO 13485). Ensure no non-conforming material is inadvertently released into active warehouse stores or production lines.
3PL Coordination & Local Travel: Coordinate material shipments to and from the local Fremont 3PL warehouse. Travel ad-hoc to the Fremont facility (mileage reimbursed) to audit, label, and quarantine bulk palletized items.
Material Handling & Inventory: Use a manual pallet jack at a minimum to move and stage pallets within the cage and receiving area. Conduct cycle counts, maintain identification tags, and preserve inventory accuracy.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Medical device industry background (ISO 13485 compliance).
Experience with Propel (NCMR module) software.
Experience with QAD ERP system.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years in warehouse management, inventory control, or quality assurance???specifically managing non-conforming materials (NCMR / NCR / MRB).
Proficiency with ERP systems (QAD, SAP, or similar) and quality management tools.
Physical capability to operate a manual pallet jack to move heavy, bulk material and pallets.
Valid driver???s license and reliable transportation for occasional ad-hoc travel between the San Jose and Fremont sites.
Strong, detail-oriented work style with the ability to follow written SOPs independently.
