This role is critical to maintaining product integrity and requires hands-on inspection, thorough documentation, and a commitment to quality management system standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform Level II Fluorescent Dye Penetrant Inspections (FPI) on complex plastic components using fluorescent dye, developer, and ultraviolet (black light) equipment.
Accurately identify, interpret, and document surface discontinuities and defects in accordance with engineering specifications.
Conduct precision dimensional inspections using a variety of handheld measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Read, interpret, and apply requirements from complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and internal specifications.
Apply and manage appropriate quality sampling plans for various inspection activities.
Support core quality operations, including: Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
Maintain meticulous and accurate inspection records, process logs, and non-conformance reports.
Perform all duties while adhering to protocols required for cleanroom environments, both on-site and potentially off-site.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
ASNT or equivalent Level II Certification in Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI/PT).
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a Quality Technician or Inspector role.
Familiarity with Quality Management System requirements, such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
Experience working in a controlled cleanroom environment
