We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Lumber Yard Laborer to join our yard team. In this role, you will work directly alongside a forklift operator to pull, organize, and stage lumber and building materials for customer orders. This is a physically demanding outdoor position that requires strong teamwork, physical stamina, and a focus on safety.

Responsibilities:
- Order Staging: Read order tickets and manually pull lumber and materials to build accurate customer orders.
- Teamwork: Work closely in tandem with a dedicated forklift operator to safely move, transport, and stack heavy lumber.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading customer vehicles and delivery trucks as needed.
- Yard Maintenance: Keep the lumber yard clean, organized, well-stocked, and safe for staff and customers.
- Material Inspection: Perform visual quality checks on lumber and building products before staging.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Communication: Clear communication skills to work safely and efficiently with your forklift partner.
- Experience: Previous lumber yard, construction, warehouse, or heavy manual labor experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train candidates with the right work ethic.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and dependable attendance for the set Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

- Work is performed entirely outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Constant standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
