This position is designed for a driver who values a consistent schedule and a high level of professional autonomy. You can expect a predictable weekly rhythm, typically departing early Monday morning and returning home by Friday, allowing for reliable weekend resets.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class A vehicles to transport goods over long distances.
Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and compliance standards.
Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Manage the loading and unloading of cargo with a focus on safety and product integrity.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure equipment is maintained in top condition.
Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Shipping Manager and dispatch team.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Mechanical Aptitude: Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience in OTR Logistics: Previous experience navigating long-haul routes and diverse weather conditions.
Detailed Documentation: A preference for maintaining high standards of record-keeping (logbooks, inspections, etc.).

Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A license with a documented history of safe driving.
Deep knowledge of DOT regulations and lawful transportation practices.
Hands-on experience with cargo handling, including loading and unloading procedures.

Effective communication skills, demonstrating a cooperative and professional attitude with on-site staff and dispatch.
