In this role, you will perform job functions associated with the packaging of sterile and non-sterile medical products according to established specifications. You may also perform specialized PMMA functions, including electrostatically spraying implants with polymer powder using masking fixtures and oven-curing coated parts.
Available Shifts:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday - Thursday)
Weekend Shift: 10:00 PM - 10:00 AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of packaging machines to package, seal, label, and passivate products according to specifications with 100% accuracy
Perform etching operations on products per engineering blueprints and inspect filled containers to ensure proper packaging
Clean masking fixtures, texture implants using grit-blasting and micro-blasting equipment, and conduct 100% visual inspections on implants
Remove PMMA overspray from articulating surfaces as required
Maintain accurate production and equipment records
Perform part inspections using precision measuring equipment as required by process procedures
Maintain supplies, clean room environments, and work area safety in compliance with OP and GMP regulations
Use and maintain personal safety equipment appropriately, observe security procedures, and report potentially unsafe conditions
Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability or willingness to obtain NPI certification within 6 months of hire (if applicable)
Prior experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak fluent English to follow written/oral instructions, pass practical/written exams, and complete documentation
Physical ability to stand 100% of the time and repeatedly lift 25 to 35 lbs
Ability to maintain a very close degree of visual attention while performing intricate detail work on a repetitive basis and monitoring gauge/dial readings, flow rates, and RPMs
Clean room readiness: Must be a neat, clean individual capable of working effectively in controlled clean room environments
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
Strong interpersonal skills to interface professionally with team members and management across departments
High degree of self-motivation to work effectively with minimal supervision and participate in classroom training environments
Strict commitment to maintaining confidential information
