Spherion is hiring Machine Operator / Packers for our customer's dynamic chemical manufacturing facility in Somerset, PA. You will get hands-on experience running processing equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring final packaging meets standards—all in an environment where safety always comes first. Responsibilities:
- Set up, start, monitor, and shut down packaging lines and chemical processing equipment safely.
- Operate batching, liquid/powder filling, capping, labeling, or sealing machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform basic routine equipment adjustments, clear minor jams, and report mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Maintain steady production flow to meet shift output goals while minimizing product waste and downtime
