Job Description:
The Packaging Material Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product excellence and efficiency on the production line. This position is responsible for conducting visual inspection of products for quality, manually transferring finished products into packaging, and preparing packaged products for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects/packages production on assigned machines to ensure product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Prepares packing materials and ensures materials, labels, and finished product meets specifications.
- Maintains all job-related documents and transactions per the QMS.
- Loads data in the production monitoring system
- Sorts nonconforming product as directed by Shift Supervisor or Management.
- Manually/semi-automatically assemble medical devices and operate assembly equipment, as applicable.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Education: High School
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 6 months
- Self-motivated to learn and perform job tasks to meet or exceed customer and company expectations.
- Demonstrates the capacity to work at an efficient rate to meet production goals and standards.
- Communicates with others both verbally and in writing.
Skills:
- Ability to spot minor visual quality issues or differences in component specifications.,Experience operating basic production machinery or assembling small components.,Prior experience working under a Quality Management System QMS or in a regulated environment.,Clear verbal communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and cross-shift teammates.,Ability to navigate production tracking software and enter numerical data.
