Position Details
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Huntertown, IN
Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day will involve the full lifecycle of the painting process, from raw metal to the final coat:
Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, masking, and prepping truck chassis, bumpers, replacement beds, and various parts for paint.
Sandblasting: Operating sandblasting equipment to remove old paint, rust, or debris from truck beds and components.
Specialized Coating: Utilizing the Vortex machine for high-performance spray-on liners and coatings.
Spray Painting: Applying primer and finish coats using industrial spray guns, ensuring even coverage and a professional-grade aesthetic.
Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, nozzles, and machines to ensure longevity and performance.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
We are looking for a "Paint Tech" mindset-someone who understands that a great paint job is 90% preparation.
Technical Proficiency: Previous experience with industrial spray guns and various paint types (enamels, urethanes, etc.).
Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot imperfections in metal or prep work before the paint hits the surface.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods, wearing required PPE (respirators/hoods), and handling heavy truck parts.
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery like the Vortex system and sandblasters.
Reliability: A consistent, "show up and get it done" attitude that fits our M-F production schedule.
