What You'll Do
As a Paint Technician, you will report directly to the Paint Supervisor and take ownership of the manual powder paint application process.

Precision Application: Apply powder paint utilizing manual powder gun equipment according to specifications.
Equipment Care: Perform efficient color changes on automatic powder equipment and maintain a dust-free, organized powder room environment.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose application issues on the fly and perform routine preventative maintenance on the line.
Quality Control: Inspect parts, mark defects to ensure subpar products never reach the customer, and report racking improvements to boost quality.
Team Collaboration: Follow directions from the powder room coordinator and step in to assist with other production operations and Tech III tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring
Experience: Prefer 2+ years of experience with powder application (exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment or highly technical setting is a major plus!).
Skills: Solid understanding of basic print reading, torque values, and general metric/standard systems. Basic computer skills are required.
Core Aptitude: Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong basic math skills, and the physical capability to assist in all areas of the paint department when needed
