Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Includes 5 hours of guaranteed weekly overtime)
As an Auto Parts Counter Representative & Delivery Driver in Leesburg, FL, you will keep the commercial truck, automotive, and trailer world moving by acting as the key link between fleet operators, mechanics, and essential parts.
Responsibilities:
- Parts Sales & Customer Service: Assist walk-in commercial accounts, fleets, and mechanics in person and over the phone to source heavy-duty truck, automotive, and trailer parts.
- Delivery Driving: Safely operate company vehicles on local delivery routes to drop off inventory to shops and fleet yards.
- Stocking & Inventory Management: Unload shipments, inspect incoming freight, stock shelves, and keep heavy components properly organized.
- POS & Order Processing: Accurately process transactions through Point of Sale (POS) systems, collect payments, and manage invoices.
- Warehouse & Showroom Maintenance: Keep counter areas, showrooms, and warehouse spaces clean and safe to support smooth daily operations.
- Heavy Material Handling: Safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy truck parts, drums, batteries, and axles weighing 100+ lbs.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Previous experience in local delivery driving or route logistics.

Qualifications:
- Solid background in automotive parts sales, heavy truck parts, vehicle parts, or aftermarket retail.
- Prior experience with heavy-duty commercial truck or trailer components.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of vehicle/trailer systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently using CMMS or similar systems.
- Knowledge of retail sales processes, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is essential.
- Valid Class C driver?s license with a clean driving record; experience operating delivery vehicles is preferred.
- High reliability, professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills.
- Great communication skills, phone etiquette, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are crucial for success.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver parts up to 100 lbs.
