Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
Process, verify, and reconcile invoices for payment to vendors and contractors.
Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely payment schedules.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Accurately record and process tenant rent payments and other property-related income.
Monitor and manage delinquent accounts, following up with tenants as necessary.
Data Entry & General Ledger:
Perform high-volume, accurate data entry of financial transactions into the accounting software (e.g., rent, utility payments, maintenance expenses).
Assist in maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries.
Bank Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple property accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Accounting Fundamentals:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of debits and credits and the basic accounting equation to ensure transactions are recorded correctly.
Customer Service & Communication:
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants, vendors, and property owners regarding billing or payment inquiries.
Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
