We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian / Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our steel manufacturing facility.
This position offers a unique schedule, requiring only one full day of work per week (4 times per month) during standard daytime hours (8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday).

Responsibilities:
Facility Sanitation: Clean, sanitize, and restock supplies in all restrooms, locker rooms, and employee shower areas.
Break Rooms & Offices: Thoroughly clean, dust, and sanitize tables, counters, desks, and common areas.
Floor Care: Sweep, dust-mop, and damp-mop floors across offices, hallways, break rooms, and designated manufacturing walkways.
Waste Management: Empty all trash and recycling bins in work areas and offices, replace liners, and safely transport waste to outdoor dumpsters.
Surface Cleaning: Wipe down high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, handrails, switches) to maintain a healthy workplace.
Safety Awareness: Always utilize proper safety signage (e.g., "Wet Floor" signs) and carefully handle/dilute commercial cleaning chemicals according to directions.
Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, leaks, or low inventory on cleaning supplies to management.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Prior custodial experience within an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing plant environment.
Basic knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and safe chemical handling practices.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, office cleaner, or a similar role.
Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including standing/walking for long periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 35???40 lbs.
Strong reliability and punctuality; absolute commitment to showing up for the weekly scheduled day.
Ability to work productively and thoroughly with minimal direct supervision.
Strong adherence to safety guidelines within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
