In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient cost estimation and management of multiple paving and construction projects. You will work directly with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are successfully converted from initial bids to active, completed works. We are looking for a professional who excels at communication and effective planning to help our division continue to grow and build trust within the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:
Project Estimation: Determine project requirements and perform detailed cost estimations for potential projects.
Contract Management: Initiate project setup for awarded contracts, prepare subcontracts, and review contracts.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and contractors to collaborate on project goals.
Resource Management: Manage resource allocations to optimize utilization across various sites.
Onsite Oversight: Perform onsite project surveying for guidance on requirements and coordinate with inspectors regarding safety and project standards.
Safety & Quality: Collaborate with the EHS Director to ensure safe working conditions and communicate quality control objectives clearly to all teams.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ProEstimate, or similar industry software.
Microsoft Office: Strong skills with Excel and Outlook.
Surveying Tools: Knowledge of Trimble GPS equipment or similar tools for onsite surveying.

Qualifications:
Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in project management, construction management, civil engineering, or consulting.
Industry Knowledge: A background in heavy/highway construction or a similar field.
Safety Standards: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interface with internal stakeholders, government inspectors, and customers.
Documentation: Proven ability to draft technical documentation, statements of work, or project requirements.
Organization: High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple objectives simultaneously.
Legal: US Citizenship and the ability to pass a background check.
