The PCB Electrical Technician is a non-exempt position reporting directly to the Electronics Supervisor or Lead. This role is responsible for performing quality assurance inspections on electrical equipment, troubleshooting electronics, and assisting in the repair or reconditioning of items. Responsibilities:
Initial Focus: Will initially be doing cable wiring and assembly.
Quality Assurance: Inspect and QA incoming products from vendors to ensure product specifications are met.
Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot electronics and repair customer incoming items or recondition inventory.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safe work practices, including the use of protective masks, safety glasses, and gloves.
Reporting: Immediately report any irregularities, injuries, or hazardous situations to the supervisor or company managers.
Documentation: Report hours worked on company time record and adhere to policies regarding unauthorized overtime.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Cable Assembly: Prior experience with cable assembly using multi pin conductors.
Communication: Good oral communication skills and the ability to seek advice or instruction during the course of repairs.
Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail and product quality.
Versatility: Ability to handle ancillary department related tasks as required

Qualifications:
Soldering Expertise: 5 years or more of experience with quality soldering, specifically surface mount components onto boards.
PCB Board Experience: Proven experience working with PCB boards and surface mount ICs.
High Voltage: Experience with or comfort working in High Voltage environments.
Diagnostics: Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Technical Literacy: Strong ability to read and interpret basic schematics and wiring diagrams.
Component Knowledge: Deep understanding of specific electrical and electronic components, including capacitors, resistors, and diodes.
