Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklift to transport raw materials, moving heavy pallets of raw and finished goods throughout the facility.

Order Fulfillment: Utilize RF scanners and pick sheets to accurately locate, pull, and verify inventory numbers for outgoing shipments.

Packing & Palletizing: Manually stack, bundle, wrap, and label corrugated products according to strict customer specifications.

Logistics Support: Assist in loading and unloading freight trucks while maintaining clean, organized staging lanes and a clutter-free work environment.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Situational Awareness: Operating a heavy forklift in a fast-paced packaging plant requires constant alertness. Candidates must stay highly aware of blind spots, changing pedestrian foot traffic, and shifting warehouse layouts to prevent accidents.

Adaptability: Because this is a hybrid role, workers need to transition smoothly and quickly between sitting on a forklift and jumping off to manually pick, pack, stack, or label pallets depending on production line bottlenecks.

Dependability: Manufacturing plants run on tight production timelines to meet daily shipping quotas. Exceptional attendance, punctuality, and reliability are vital to keeping the packaging line moving without delays.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse setting.
Proven tracking record of picker/packer performance in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be willing to submit to a standard background check and drug screen.
Successful completion of a Spherion/client forklift operator assessment before placement.
