Responsibilities:
Apply conformal coatings, staking compounds, and epoxies to complex electronic assemblies according to precise specifications.
Handle, mix, and store hazardous materials, solvents, and epoxies following strict safety and MSDS guidelines.
Operate specialty equipment, including mixing tools, curing ovens, ultrasonic cleaners, and automated program files.
Inspect product compliance against quality standards, escalating discrepancies and preventing counterfeit component entry.
Maintain lab cleanliness, manage material inventory, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a basic awareness of IT and cybersecurity standards.
Strong hands-on experience using lab equipment like spray guns, exhaust hoods, measuring tools, and curing ovens.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Strict commitment to safety protocols, including ESD, FOD, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred).
Ability to complete IPC ESD certification and training on specialized workmanship standards (e.g., NASA 8739.1).
Physical capability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
