Responsibilities:
Coating & Painting: Hang parts on the conveyor line, calibrate spacing for oven temperature shifts, and professionally apply powder coat/paint in the spray booth.
Preparation & Wash: Clean the interiors of parts to ensure all welding debris, moisture, and residues are completely removed prior to painting.
Assembly & Packaging: Disassemble and assemble parts on/off the production line, generate accurate tracking labels, and securely box and palletize completed products.
Quality & Testing: Perform quality control audits on parts against Standard
Operating Procedures (SSOP), sign off on quality prints, and test smaller components for leaks.
Production Logistics: Use inventory and operations software (M.O.M. system) to log into jobs, scan tasks, and receive completed parts.
Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a highly clean workspace using 5S guidelines (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), and immediately report any safety or equipment concerns.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
Prior experience in powder coating, industrial spray painting, or manufacturing assembly.
Familiarity with manufacturing machinery, including hand/pneumatic tools, DA sanders, and motorized or manual pallet jacks.
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen workflow improvement principles.
Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet strict production deadlines
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong communication skills with the ability to read and understand standard English instructions and prints.
Physical capability to stand for the majority of a 7.5 to 8-hour shift and guide heavy objects utilizing overhead hoists.
Physical capability to push and pull wheeled carts weighing up to 150 lbs. Willingness to wear all mandated
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including Tyvek suits, respirators, safety glasses, and ear/foot protection.
Ability to pass standard pre-employment screens, including a physical exam, drug screen, hearing test and more
