- 1st shift: 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What You’ll Do:
- Apply powder coat, wet paint, primers, and finishes to fabricated metal and structural surfaces using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Learn and operate automated paint systems, including Gema CM40 and 41 controls, spray equipment, compressors, and paint booth/oven operations.
- Inspect metal products prior to painting to catch errors, repair defects, and prepare surfaces according to safety standards.
- Mix, tint, and match wet and powder coat colors with thinning additives to achieve correct shades and consistencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, keep equipment in good working order, and follow hazardous material handling guidelines.
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately while adhering to company safety standards.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing paint department preferred (2 years wet spray/powder paint ideal, but willing to train right candidate); moving line experience is a plus
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong basic math and computer skills, with the ability to read work orders, technical instructions, and paint specifications
- Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment and awareness of hazardous material safety guidelines (MSDS)
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to strict safety standards
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn automated systems
