Job Description:
A Procurement Assistant supports an organization's purchasing department by managing supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and monitoring inventory. They act as the vital link between vendors and internal teams to ensure cost-efficiency, contract compliance, and a steady supply of necessary goods or services
Responsibilities:
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers
- Uploading pricing/delivery dates into our EAM system.
- Running open order reports
- Following Up with Vendors
- General Procurement tasks
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 24 months
Physical:
- Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
Skills:
- Procurement Assistants focus on paperwork, updating ERP systems, data entry, and order expedition.
